Pamilya

True Story. After 3 hours of training on the Friday night opener for World Camp, a motley crew of 15 or so walked into a restaurant for some much needed food and to catch up. Amongst us were a biker, a software engineer, an architect, a lawyer, a rocket scientist, several entrepreneurs, an electrician. People of Chinese, African, European, South American, and Filipino descent. People ranging from their 20's to their 60's. Clean cut people and people covered with tattoos. People from all over 2 continents and a number of islands in between. We sat and talked and laughed for the better part of 2 hours until we realized it was almost midnight and training would be starting up again before we knew it. As the waitress was bringing us our checks she stopped and said,

"I have to ask, I've been trying to figure this out all night... you are the strangest group of guys that I have ever seen together, and you seem like you know each other really well... How do you know each other?"

Our response,"We are family."

She smiled, "I believe it."
