Additional highlights from this past weekend

In recognition of GM Taboada's tutelage and support, GM Richardson and Prof. Penn presented GM with honorary fighting sticks handcrafted from a special hardwood that darkens as it ages.

In addition, Senior student Alan Hallmark presented GM Taboada with a hand-made Japanese flute which he crafted himself from high-strength resin. This flute is 28" long and comes with a handsome, handcrafted wood display case. Alan also graciously presented similar flutes to the instructors, Nebrido, Ben, Aris and Terry. Thank you Alan!

And last but not least, we wanted to acknowledge and thank Jemar Carcellar, our school's founder, for traveling up this weekend from Atlanta to train with, and teach us.
