Special thanks to Guro Jerome Teague for making the trek across the Appalachian and to everyone who came out to play with knives, much to the chagrin of our mothers.
We had a great turnout for Grandmaster Taboada's seminar yesterday. 20 people, from a total of 4 different schools and 2 states came to partake in the immense amount (6 1/2 hours worth) of in-depth information that Grandmaster went into, covering the entire breadth of his Balintawak curriculum (and then some). Richmond Balintawak would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who came out to learn from the living legend that is Grandmaster Taboada. Most importantly we would like to thank Grandmaster Taboada for sharing his time, wisdom, and friendship with us. It was an honor to have him at our school and we look forward to his next visit and showing him how we have incorporated the knowledge he has imparted to us. Cheers Grandmaster Taboada!
